Aim
Chisor Foundation supports deprived families by helping to turn the vicious circle into a virtuous circle. Not by founding large projects, but by initiating low scale, family oriented projects, based on personal contact. We focus on families, especially in Asia and Africa. We supported hitherto projects in Cambodia, India, Nepal, Thailand, the border of Laos, Burma and Thailand (refugees), Kenya and Southern Sudan.

Summary of policy
Vision
Based on long term personal involvement in development projects it is our vision that families living in poverty need direct small scale support financially and in education. The poverty situation places them at great risk of becoming victim of human trafficking and sexual abuse.
Implementation
Our policy is to link with local and international development workers we know personally well and support financially small scale projects at the family level with a limited duration of 1 to 3 years. We receive feedback and evaluation from our local partners on the project implementation.
Funding
We ask for private donations referring to actual project proposals.
Financial Management
The foundation has no personnel or governing costs. The only administrative expenses are the yearly registration costs of the foundation, the quarterly bank account costs and the costs incurred with the bank transfers to our local partners. The costs of the website “chisor.nl “ “chisor.org”are privately donated. The transfer of funds to the local partner takes place during the year, depending on the status of the project.
